We are seeking a supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for overseeing multiple facilities and employees.

Position Details

This is a Monday - Friday Evening position that requires a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between quality assurance, clients & custodians to ensure all needs are being met
  • Perform quality assurance inspections and correct deficiencies
  • Train staff
  • Organize employee shifts and motivate team members to stay on task and complete assignments to standards
  • Oversee staff performance and ensure all assignments are completed according to the schedule
  • Train cleaners on task schedules specific to individual accounts
  • Perform inspections and provide constructive performance feedback
  • Assign shifts and adjust for call-offs or no-shows
  • Respond to customer complaints and requests in a timely, courteous manner
  • Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations; use proper PPE where required
  • Open/lock facilities, enable/disable security system as required
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment; flexible work style
  • Maintain a positive work climate and be dependable and punctual
  • Communicate effectively in English; bilingual a plus

Qualifications

  • Supervision experience required; commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Experience coaching and supervising multiple positions/employees
  • Must have cleaning experience as we are a janitorial service
  • Strong verbal/written communication and average math skills; ability to write reports and manage budgets
  • Valid Driver's License and Background Check required
  • 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required

Physical Demands and Qualifications

  • Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward; must be able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

Compensation

$15.00 per hour and up

Job Position Description
