HireArt is hiring: IT Support Specialist in Foster City

Overview

IT Support Specialist at an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company. Compensation: 40.00 - 45.00 USD Per Hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support five days a week.
• Respond to Tier 1 support requests via email, Slack, and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
• Track, resolve, and escalate tickets as needed.
• Identify and report recurring support trends.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts and access in Active Directory.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize support requests
• Knowledge of commonly used software, hardware, and applications
• Experience with Active Directory, Google Workspace, or similar platforms
• Basic networking knowledge (VPN, DHCP, DNS)
• Familiarity with Windows, Ubuntu, and macOS (preferred)
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, or similar ticketing/wiki tools (preferred)

Commitment

This is a full-time, ongoing 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
