Applications Engineer Automated Bending

As an Applications Engineer Automated Bending, you will play a critical role in supporting TRUMPFs sales and customer success initiatives. This includes delivering high-impact product demonstrations, conducting part feasibility analyses, and providing post-sales support for our advanced automated bending systems. You'll help customers maximize their productivity and fully leverage TRUMPF technology. Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality product and production flow demonstrations focused on automated bending to support sales efforts. Provide application support through TRUMPFs digital solutions, both virtually and on-site. Perform feasibility analyses, time studies, and produce sample parts for customer evaluation. Support machine startups and provide hands-on production assistance post-installation. Maintain and prepare smart factory showroom equipment for demos and customer visits. Organize and deliver training sessions on machine programming and operation. Consult on and demonstrate Industry 4.0 solutions, including hardware, software, and services. Collaborate with TRUMPF teams in Austria, Germany, and Italy to share feedback and support product development. Assist with new machine introductions through testing and early customer support. Qualifications & Experience

Multiple years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing, with strong knowledge of panel bending and automated production. Experience programming and operating industrial robots (FANUC preferred) is a plus. Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems, bending machine programming, and general machine tool operation. Understanding of manufacturing technologies and production software systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-facing experience required. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly; willingness to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Join Us
