Requirements
Must have a valid Virginia CNA license CPR certification preferred 1-2 years of CNA experience preferred, particularly in a geriatric or long-term care setting Strong knowledge ofbedside nursing care and protocols Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Primary Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Aid with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety. Monitor vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and changes in residents' health. Assist with restorative and rehabilitative activities as directed. Ensure cleanliness and organization in resident rooms and common areas. Uphold residents' privacy, dignity, and rights according to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
