The Electrophysiology Technician II is an ideal opportunity at MultiCare to provide quality care within the cardiac Cath and electrophysiology labs. This position offers you the capacity to provide technical support and assistance while you ensure the comfort and well-being of the patient and family. Responsibilities

Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Physician Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room Assist the Registered Nurses or Physician in providing patient care as needed Perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation assuring that it is reflective of patient needs, and actions taken Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment Assist physicians in administering contrast media Registered Nurse (RN) will perform within scope of practice to Registered Nurse licensure until cardiovascular invasive specialist certification is obtained Requirements

Certification of Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist or to obtain within six (6) months of employment if holding current Registered Nurse (RN) License Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) or current Registered Nurse (RN) License Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry as a standard for care provision, previous experience and RCES registry or to obtain within six (6) months of employment Certification of AHA BLS and ACLS CPR As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $49.67 - $75.29 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
