Job Title SUNY Cortland Cupboard Assistant
Department Counseling and Wellness Services
Job Description/Duties
SUNY Cortland Cupboard Intern will provide outreach, education, programming and support for students at SUNY Cortland. Specific responsibilities include: Maintain the Cupboard's safety, cleanliness, and completeness Assist with additional office programs, initiatives and administrative tasks Maintain inventory Hold office hours Attend SUNY Cortland Cupboard committee meetings and provide updates Promote the Cupboard over Instagram Promote and assist with programs such as Swipe Out Hunger, Filled Fridge Friday or Food Rescue Advance visibility and awareness of the Cupboard
Days/Hours Needed
Monday to Friday, flexible hours
Campus Location/Bldg.
Old Main, Room B-05
Required Qualifications
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
o Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
o Understanding of college student food insecurity issues and concerns
o Previous experience in a student leadership position (ex. Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader, Peer Mentor, etc.)
o Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher) and other online advertisement websites such as canva
o Prior organizational experience managing college programs
o Desire and willingness to learn
o Can lift 25 lbs o Holds a valid drivers license
