Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for a broad portfolio of clients, overseeing comprehensive tax compliance and strategic advisory services.
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, delivering consultative guidance on entity selection, owner compensation strategies, deduction optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of tax filings across multiple entity types, including S Corporations (1120-S), C Corporations (1120), Partnerships (1065), and Individual returns (1040).
- Analyze and refine accounting records prior to tax engagement, including reconciliation of accounts, posting of adjusting entries, and trial balance preparation.
- Perform targeted tax research and provide analytical insights on complex issues in collaboration with firm leadership.
- Develop and implement tailored tax strategies, projections, and planning initiatives for both business entities and individual clients.
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in business returns (S-corp, partnership)
- High net worth tax
- Bachelors in Accounting
- Masters in Accounting or Taxation
- CPA preferred
