To maintain highest standards of safety, quality, knowhow, and productivity on the production floor.Ensures and reinforces the exercise of the health and safety programOversees daily production Supports engineers to ensure machines run efficientlyEnsures profits are maximizedDevelops production schedule Plans, directs and assigns duties of manufacturing personnelAuthorizes overtime, as necessary, to meet production goalsAnalyzes and interprets data received on a daily basis and prepares management and financial reports Analyzes data from various systems to detect and prevent production issue Intervenes to the production floor when issues are detected in real-timePrepares production figures for daily meetingsCompiles month-end reportsTroubleshoots & solves production problems Manages production issuesIn charge of issues that are being solved and trackedReports crucial process problems to the Plant Manager & DirectorsManagement of the Production Department Organizes and conducts meetings with Supervisors on a regular basisRecruits (with HR) new employeesEnsures efficient shift hand-over and feedback of past shift performancePrepares shift schedulesPerforms disciplinary actionsOversees all production trainingProvides continuous feedback culture with all production team membersPerforms annual Performance EvaluationMonthly meeting with OPEX teamKnow how level/trainings Overall understanding of various ALPLA IT/MES SystemsAssesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of training (Equipment, Product, Processes, and IT/MES SystemsEnsures all employees follow procedures Revises existing and implements new proceduresRequirementsWhat Makes You GreatEducation/Experience:Min 2-year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferredTechnical / Engineering background3 to 5 years' experience in a management position in production, preferably within plastics industryQualifications/Skills:Thorough understanding of Health and Safety practicesExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong leadership skillsTechnical understanding (Manufacturing and IT)Strong knowledge sharing/training skills
