What youll do

1. Define and manage the distribution & base chemical supplier portfolio.
2. Select suppliers and establish strategic supplier relationships where appropriate, managing them accordingly.
3. Lead regional strategy development for assigned spend. Implement year-over-year cost reduction, increased payment terms, and optimize price development in line with global targets.
4. Ensure Scope 3 Carbon reduction targets are met by 2030 along with other sustainability KPIs (e.g., 100% RSPO Sourced Palm, Supplier Ecovadis compliance).
5. Support full delegation of back-office jobs to Shared Service Center and develop best practices for e-sourcing with sustainable results.
6. Be responsible for periodic progress measurement, accuracy of information and data, on-time delivery, and audit-compliant documentation.
7. Proactively steer the agreement portfolio.
8. Execute operational standard processes to enable, secure, improve, and verify supply.
9. Ensure supply continuity and manage all critical shortages and FMs to avoid out-of-stocks and impact on NES.
10. Optimize the end-to-end value chain demand-to-supply (together with Supply Chain) to improve supplier service, quality levels, and raw/materials inventory.
11. Collaborate with regional stakeholders (Supply Chain, Commercial Teams, R&D).
