Forklift Operator

Job Description: AtWork Staffing is currently hiring experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators. If you have forklift experience and are looking for consistent work in a warehouse or industrial setting, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack as required) to move, locate, stack, and count materials
- Load and unload trucks and containers
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklift equipment
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
- Accurately pick, stage, and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Complete paperwork or scanning tasks related to inventory movement
- Assist with other general warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification and proven forklift operating experience
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and safety regulations
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and reading skills
- Must pass any required background check or drug screening (as applicable per client)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Multiple forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, etc.)
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or inventory control
