Job Description
Job Description: General Radiology Technologist
Shift Details
This position requires 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of every other weekend on day shift.
Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of strong and current experience as an X-ray technologist.
• Registered Technologist (RT) certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Current Maryland State License as a Radiographer from the Maryland Board of Physicians.
• BLS certification is required.
• Ability to provide 2 references from supervisors or above upon request.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Community Hospital charting systems.
• Previous charge experience in a clinical setting.
• Exposure to various patient age groups and diagnoses.

Compliance Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine is required, with no exemptions.
• Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
