Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to operate sophisticated equipment and provide exceptional patient care during catheterization procedures. The successful candidate will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

n

n
• Operate and maintain fluorographic, digital image recording, laser, and electrophysiology equipment.
n
• Perform and interpret hemodynamic waveforms and electrocardiographic tracings.
n
• Develop and monitor quality control policies and procedures.
n
• Train staff cardiac technologists, fellows, and nursing staff on equipment functions and safety procedures.
n
• Maintain inventory control systems and manage computer reports.
n

Qualifications

• Education: n
  n
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Studies Required
  n
  • Non-Degree Program Approved Cardiovascular Technology Program Required or a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  n
  n

• Experience: 3 years of experience as a cardiac cath or interventional radiology technologist Required
n
• Licenses: n
  n
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
  n
  • Amer Reg Radiologic Technologist Required or Reg Cardio Invasive Specialist Required
  n
  • Basic Life Support Required
  n
  n
