ABOUT THIS PIVOTAL ROLE:

As an EOS “Right Person/Right Seat” role, the Fire Project Manager will be a fully competent professional with in-depth experience in commercial construction, specifically fire alarms and/or suppression systems . You'll be at the forefront of our projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction from start to finish. This role is accountable for quarterly and annual goals that can pay significant incentive compensation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Leading project estimating and determining resources (labor, equipment, and materials) from project start to finish.
  • Strategic planning to ensure deadlines are met and costs are within budget.
  • Overseeing and managing field personnel and subcontractors daily.
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistency; maintaining, meeting, or exceeding construction standards/codes for fire systems.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to secure future work.
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities.


ABOUT YOU (THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS SEAT):

  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience working for a fire prevention design-build contractor.
  • Technical Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of NFPA standards and proven ability to produce on-time and profitable projects.
  • Certifications: NICET certified is preferred.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: You approach challenges with ingenuity and find effective solutions.
  • Influencer: You possess a high level of PM expertise, capable of influencing direct reports and clients to sell ideas and shape decision criteria.
  • Cultural Fit: A good sense of humor is essential to thrive in our relaxed yet professional office environment.
  • Travel Ready: Willingness for approximately 20% overnight travel (around 10 weeks/year); travel as the job requires.
  • Financial Literacy: A clear understanding of key financial concepts.
  • Group Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver training to both prospects and clients.
  • Account Management: This role is forward-facing with clients and ensures client delight.
  • Meticulous Work Habits: Close attention to detail, exceptional time management, strong people skills, problem-solving skills, and outstanding organizational abilities.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and present technical information verbally and in writing via Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000 annually , with final pay based on your job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
  • Significant Quarterly Incentives: Accountable for goals in Recognized Gross Profit %, Training & Development, and In-person Customer Interactions, leading to substantial bonus potential.
