Inventory Management Support B

The Inventory Management Support role in the L3Harris stockroom is crucial to our manufacturing operations. Candidates must handle both physical and administrative tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in a stockroom and factory environment. This position requires working in a fast-paced setting with a cross-functional team. Essential Functions: Ensuring accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and location audits. Selecting and distributing parts using various picking techniques. Handling materials safely to avoid damage and ensure workplace safety. Meeting deadlines for picking and delivering materials. Logging and viewing data across spreadsheets, forms, and web pages. Using data to solve problems and make informed decisions. The role involves various responsibilities, from continuous movement across different areas to staying in one location for repetitive tasks. Prospective candidates should be confident that, with proper training, they can thrive in this position. Be in a stationary position for 85% of hourly shift (shifts are either 9 or 12 hours). Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours). Capable of bending, twisting and lifting to 32lbs. Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant inventory experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related inventory experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in stockrooms/warehouses. Receiving, picking, delivering material quickly and accurately. The ability to manipulate data to make informed decisions. Experience with Excel is highly desirable. Experience using power equipment. Feeling comfortable on a computer to complete day-to-day tasks. Quality cautious with accurate counting ability. Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $17.75 - $27.16. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
