The Grant Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of grant funding, including identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, managing award timelines, ensuring compliance, and completing all reporting requirements. This role collaborates with program, finance, and development teams to support the organizations strategic initiatives and sustainability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Priority 2: Grants Writing and Applications
Demonstrate strong expository writing skills and high-level grammar and spelling. Research grant opportunities aligned with the organizations mission. Develop, gather, and submit clean, compelling grant proposals, including provided budgets and program narratives when required by funders. Serve as primary writer for all grants and determine when contract grant writing is needed. Review funder websites for grant cycles, deadlines, and reporting due dates. Prepare and maintain lists and analyses of potential funders for specific projects and programs. Maintain accurate grant documentation, including research, applications, refusals, and administration of funded grants. Prepare program needs lists and pursue funding opportunities without reallocating current funding sources. Collaborate with finance to prepare financial reports and reconcile budgets. Help review project/program budgets with the Chief Financial Officer for funding presentations. Prepare letters of support for partner agencies and draft letters to legislators or others on behalf of domestic violence victims. Develop and implement grant acquisition strategies for initial applications and renewals. Respond promptly to information requests from funders while meeting other application deadlines. Maintain positive relationships with DVIS staff and funding sources; coordinate interagency grant oversight meetings. Work with the CFO and Administration to align budget requirements with funding opportunities.
Priority 3: Oversee Administration of All Grants
Maintain relationships with grant-making organizations during reviews and provide additional materials as requested. Monitor grants and submit renewals or extensions when applicable. Provide progress reports as required by funders. Coordinate with CFO and program staff to align program goals with grant opportunities; convert ideas into workable funding opportunities. Build positive internal/external relationships and foster a positive work environment. Ensure DVIS compliance with all grant regulations and special conditions. Prepare grant status reports, calendars, and evaluation documents to monitor progress and outcomes. Track software, deadlines, and communicate with the CFO to meet deadlines. Participate in community collaborations to develop funding/resources for DVIS. Provide grant management and reporting training for staff. Attend all staff and department meetings as required. Other duties as assigned.

Adhere to federal and state grant regulations and maintain client/staff confidentiality. Maintain professional and ethical conduct toward clients, staff, and the community. Promote a customer-service philosophy aligned with DVIS goals; be responsive to program needs. Be sensitive to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the service population and coworkers.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in public administration, nonprofit management, finance, or related field, or 35 years of grant writing/management experience. Experience:
Strong writing, excellent organization and project management, and ability to meet deadlines. Proficiency with data collection and analysis; experience with grant software or CRM systems is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong writing ability for diverse audiences Analytical and organizational skills; ability to synthesize complex information Experience with data collection and budgeting Ability to work independently and as part of a team; prioritization of workload Familiarity with federal and private grant regulations (e.g., OMB Uniform Guidance) Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with grant software (e.g., Instrumentl, Salesforce, Blackbaud) is a plus Note: Requires commitment to DVIS philosophies on diversity, inclusion, equity, and anti-racism. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, occasional extended workdays. Location: Tulsa, OK. Licenses & Certifications
