Responsible for managing the agile release train for a given value stream and ensuring scrum team success. Lead agile transformation efforts by coaching and transitioning teams, programs, and portfolios toward SAFe and non-SAFe environments. Facilitate delivery by coaching agile teams, removing impediments, and guiding teams to embrace agile practices. Create release plans and roadmaps for existing products or platforms; develop reporting metrics and dashboards to illustrate the flow of value. Lead, guide, and coach professional staff; influence, negotiate, and persuade to achieve positive outcomes; build effective relationships through trust and diplomacy. Deliver presentations and communications to virtual and in-person teams; work independently and in a matrixed environment. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or - the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Significant experience in agile transformation; successful coaching and transitioning of teams, programs, and portfolios. Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer (RTE) certifications with extensive experience in SAFe and non-SAFe environments. 10+ years of combined IT experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, Scrum Master, and/or Release Train Engineer. Experience coaching agile teams and assessing their development maturity; experience with Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Experience creating reporting metrics and dashboards; experience leading successful delivery teams and managing multiple teams across a product area. Experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead in leading transformation; track record of implementing Agile methodologies. Experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, and vendors; ability to coach and mentor staff and empower delivery teams. Ability to remove impediments that impact the teams planned execution; ability to create release plans and roadmaps for product or platform releases. Advanced skills in influencing, negotiating, diplomacy, mentoring, problem solving, collaboration, and communication; strong relationship-building and presentation skills. Advanced verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills; proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, diagrams, and presentation software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a matrixed environment; capable of delivering effective presentations to both virtual and in-person audiences.
