Director of Generative AI Software Engineering – Hybrid NYC. Drive cutting-edge GenAI innovation with React, C#, Azure, GitHub Copilot & Cursor/Devon. Lead SaaS products with proven leadership experience. Responsibilities
Define and execute the generative AI roadmap in alignment with business and engineering goals Lead ideation, prototyping, and scaling of AI-driven solutions including LLMs, Copilots, and autonomous agents Own technology architecture and development for complex, scalable SaaS products Oversee daily activities and performance of multiple SCRUM teams Monitor key engineering and operational metrics to drive delivery excellence Guide estimation of engineering efforts, planning for new features, and remediation of legacy code Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to deliver secure, performant, cloud-native applications Promote transparency and accountability through data-driven processes across teams Identify market gaps and align technology delivery to client needs and feedback Lead cross-functional global collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams Shape overall software development strategy, tooling, roadmaps, and best practices Drive execution through structured 90, 120, and 180-day planning in partnership with executive leadership Qualifications
15+ years in software engineering 5+ years in progressive technical leadership/people management Tech stack expertise in C#, Azure, React SaaS product experience required, preferably in high-scale, customer-facing platforms Proven track record leading multiple teams doing AI projects (LLMs, agents, MCP Servers, prompt engineering) Familiar with GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Devon Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field Why join us
