Overview Dauphine’s is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our award-winning team. Long Shot Hospitality is hiring an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at Dauphine’s, our modern New Orleans–inspired restaurant in the heart of downtown DC. We’re looking for a creative, driven chef with a strong culinary foundation, charcuterie experience, and a proven track record in kitchen leadership, team development, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction and will bring their own perspective to the Dauphine’s menu while honoring its signature style and vision. This is a high-profile role with the opportunity to shape the future of one of DC’s dining destinations.

What We’re Looking For

Strong culinary technique and kitchen leadership experience

Background in charcuterie preferred

Proven ability to manage financials and drive profitable operations

Passion for mentorship, culture-building, and high standards

Commitment to creating memorable guest experiences

Ability to balance creativity with consistency and execution

Role and Responsibilities As Executive Chef, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to co-lead the restaurant, overseeing all kitchen operations and contributing to a positive, supportive, and professional workplace culture.

Dauphine’s pays homage to the iconic Grande Dame restaurants of New Orleans. Created by the award-winning team behind The Salt Line, the restaurant features three levels, including a raw bar, Boucherie, mezzanine dining, and outdoor seating with both full-service, garden, and bar options.
