Responsibilities

Full-commercial portfolio account leadership with commercial acumen across the entire portfolio.

Understand Kroger business processes with data-driven, customer-centric consultation.

Oversee client goals and objectives across the commercial portfolio, serving as primary contact for aligned clients. Budget retention through active client engagement. Deliver total business QBRs (Media Upfront, Loyalty Plan, Insights Annual Plan).

Identify and close opportunities with Kroger-facing teams to deliver on budget.

Lead all insights subscription renewals (84.51° Stratum, Collab Cloud, Data Direct).

Maximize adoption of and value-creation with Insights subscriptions. Consult on utilization of insights to support key merchandising processes and bridge insights to activation opportunities; engage corporate data science on data utilization.

Ensure flawless commercial execution across the book of business. Drive strategic recommendations and brand performance discussions using the full suite of commercial products.

Own overarching client performance and value creation conversations; lead strategic recommendations for the overall business.

Proactively explore and source ideas to drive larger portfolio offerings from clients and industry trends.

Manage a team of G1-G2 account managers and provide escalation support as the go-to within the vertical for client troubleshooting.

Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

Bachelor’s degree required

5-7+ years of account management and/or business development experience. Media, Incentives, or Insights experience required

Strong experience maximizing investment decisions across the portfolio

Collaborative, energetic, and thrives as part of a cross-functional leadership team

Adept at continual learning and ability to represent a broad portfolio

Works well under tight turnarounds and deadlines

Motivate and influence a positive, constructive culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

Project management experience

Strategic thinking and problem solving

Strong communication, organization, prioritization and attention to detail

Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive recommendations and solutions forward

Pay Transparency And Benefits Pay Range:

$99,000—$167,900 USD

The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor. This position is also eligible for variable compensation.
