$99,000.00/yr - $114,000.00/yr Summary

The Senior Docket Analyst (SDA) is responsible for ensuring the integrity, completeness, and quality of data held in the firm-wide litigation docketing system; and setting up new matter monitors via various tracking services; monitoring the department email boxes to assure docketing and assignments are completed in a timely manner; and assisting with the creation & maintenance of inter-department administrative/procedural resources. The SDA will also act as mentor to Docket Specialists and Docket Analysts and provide one-on-one training to continue developing relevant skills. Additional responsibilities may include processing court filings, service of legal papers, and assisting with the creation of department best practices. Responsibilities

Performs data analysis on our litigation docket system to identify issues with quality, completeness and overall integrity of docket data. Coordinates with Director and Docket Staff Lawyers to identify root causes of and solutions to docket data integrity issues. Attends to end-user reporting and information needs. Periodically reviews and provides suggestions to update docketing procedures. Assures adherence to best practices and processes for assigned matters. Assists the Director of Docketing and Docket Staff Attorneys with the enhancement of quality control/department best practices, employee training and provides input for staff performance evaluations. Monitors the Quest email box to assure that incoming requests are acknowledged and completed on a timely basis. Responsible for the setup of client name/docket monitors via various vendor services and maintains & updates tracking list. Conducts initial department overview for incoming attorneys, obtains their electronic filing logins, and assists with updating their firm affiliation. Continues to develop and expand knowledge of court rules and procedures in multiple jurisdictions. Assists with electronic filing of documents, acceptance & service of process, litigation docketing, procedural research assignments, and other administrative projects. Works in conjunction with the Docket Managers to identify areas of improvement for individual employees to develop and implement training plans. Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university or, equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years of docketing experience or substantial experience computing deadlines for state, federal and appellate courts. Experience with rules-based calendaring software (e.g. CompuLaw, Milana, eDockets). Strong knowledge of federal, state, and other local court systems and their associated rules, including electronic filing systems. PACER research experience. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite - specifically, Word & Excel. Demonstrated ability to teach others. Experience setting up Dinger(s) and Tracks with legal vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, Courthouse News). Ability to interact with outside vendors to ensure the highest qualities of services are being provided to the firm. Preferred

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to organize and manage a large volume of detailed tasks. Experience with CompuLaw or Milana. Experience with Bloomberg and Courthouse News. Experience with Westlaw/Lexis research. Other Skills And Abilities
