Senior Product Marketing Manager, Government Cloud , you’ll be a strategic contributor to our go-to-market efforts for Atlassian Government Cloud. You’ll shape the government cloud narrative, drive adoption, and partner cross-functionally to ensure a successful General Availability (GA) launch and long-term growth in the US public sector. Location: remote-first with potential travel; near Washington DC is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Translate the government cloud strategy into compelling positioning and messaging to influence adoption and growth in the US public sector. Lead cross-functional collaboration to plan and execute a successful GA launch and ongoing growth initiatives. Translate complex security and compliance concepts for government audiences and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience:
Proven track record marketing to US government agencies, ideally for SaaS solutions targeting IT buyers. Security & Compliance:
Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements for government cloud solutions. Communication:
Medium technical proficiency—able to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences. Core Skills:
Exceptional storytelling and written communication skills. Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills. Excellent stakeholder and project management abilities. Collaborative team player, creative thinker, and open to feedback.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. The baseline of our range is higher than the typical market range, with the expectation to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is determined by a candidate’s skills, expertise, and experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900 Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800 Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700 This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
