Overview
Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm providing clients with a coast-to-coast and global advantage in major regions of the U.S. and in many of the world’s leading financial centers. This role is a Sage Intacct Consultant specializing in the Construction vertical.
What You Will Do
Be a trusted member of the engagement team and responsible for configuring and implementing Sage Intacct software for construction projects, following our prescriptive implementation methodology to deliver in-scope, on-budget, on-time delivery with high customer satisfaction and adoption.
Follow all stages of the implementation process, including collaborative consultations with the client, defining requirements, designing solutions, configurations, testing, training, data cleansing, and data migration.
Deepen knowledge of Sage Intacct and stay current with product features, especially related to the CRE product at Sage.
Develop deep vertical knowledge of the construction industry and sub-verticals such as General Contractors, Developers, Specialty Contractors, Home Services, etc.
Work with templated implementation project plans to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while optimizing ROI.
Conduct training for customer end-users and relate system functionality to business requirements.
Document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business processes using best practices and visual process flowcharts.
Respond to customer technical support issues related to the system implementation.
Design and build industry-specific KPIs, reports, and dashboards.
Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Customer Success to coordinate project execution.
Learn and grow through on-the-job coaching and firm-wide learning programs; seek knowledge.
Leverage entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Engage in team activities and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Successful Candidates Will Have
Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business or MIS; general understanding of accounting terms through coursework or experience.
One (1)+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas (preferred):
Consulting and implementing Sage Intacct, ERP/financial applications and/or other SaaS solutions
Construction industry experience in accounting or operations (with general understanding of accounting principles)
Public accounting experience
Accounting and finance or similar as an end user of Sage Intacct or similar ERP system
End-to-end consulting experience through the software delivery life cycle following a process-based methodology, or experience as an end user during a software implementation or upgrade.
Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) for data mapping, integration, and migration.
Strong time management, communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
Microsoft Office Suite skills.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
The compensation range for this role is $64,990 to $123,230. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
