Provide consultative support and medical cost-based analysis of markets and network initiatives
Analyze and research utilization and unit cost medical cost drivers
Transform data into usable information through data visualization and collaboration with clinical and provider network personnel
Perform drill-down analysis to identify medical cost trend drivers and advise on contracting opportunities
Extract and compile information from various systems to support executive decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
5 - 7 years of experience in the healthcare/managed care industry with knowledge of provider contracting and reimbursement
Strong analytical and research skills
Proficiency in Excel, MS-Access, and web-based query tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
Experience with medical and pharmacy claims, authorization data, and benefits design
Knowledge of business functions and their impact on financials, including underwriting and sales
