Overview

Senior Director, Business Development — Global Occupier Accounts (client-facing title: Senior Managing Director, Business Development). This role leads pursuits for large strategic accounts, partnering with GWS Enterprise, Sector and Advisory leadership to implement the sales and growth strategy for large global strategic accounts using Occupier Solutions capabilities. The Senior Director develops and leads business development initiatives and is accountable for deliverables and outcomes. This role will be responsible for win and grow activities, and will lead client-facing interactions in large, regional, and global strategic account pursuits, renewals and expansions. Responsibilities

Coordinate with Occupier Leaders, Alliance Directors, Local Market Area (LMA) leaders and brokers to identify opportunities for growth. Assemble a multidisciplinary pursuit team, including brokerage/transaction management, project management, facility management, portfolio management and/or consulting. Manage the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team and national/local marketing professionals. Participate in client meetings/presentations and lead presentation preparation sessions. Partner with clients to understand business goals and objectives; identify new opportunities and ensure client satisfaction. Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders (executives, board members, high-profile customers); develop and present sales pitches for large strategic pursuits. Coordinate and manage the matrix team’s daily activities and client pursuit responsibilities. Help develop and support pricing strategy required for each solution and client pursuit. Partner with legal, risk, and commercial teams to develop contract strategy and negotiations; review and finalize key deal summaries after signing. Apply deep knowledge across disciplines to drive financial and functional performance. Model CBRE RISE values and lead by example. Negotiate with senior management, clients, and external parties to reach strategic agreements aligned with business strategy. Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across disciplines. Direct resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems using advanced critical thinking. Qualifications

Complex solutions sales or consulting experience required; commercial real estate or outsourcing experience preferred. Bachelor’s Degree with 10-15 years of relevant experience in real estate services, including a minimum of 7+ years in business development, outsourcing solutions, pricing and organizational development for large strategic accounts; alternative: combination of experience and education in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated client relationship management experience with CEOs, CFOs and other senior executives. Ability to prioritize key initiatives, develop business cases for budgets, and align operational units toward business development goals. Ability to exchange sensitive information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate teams across multiple disciplines to achieve targets. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce for CRM, workflow, and pipeline development. Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation. The minimum salary for the Senior Director, Business Development, GOS position is $220,000 annually and the maximum is $235,000 annually. Compensation will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus per CBRE’s benefit program.
