Software Engineer
to join our team. You will be building and delivering cloud solutions to meet the scale that few companies in the industry are required to support. Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies, you will be instrumental in delivering holistic protection within highly sensitive and secure government environments. Build and improve services to be scalable and highly reliable. Help deliver and improve engineering systems and practices to deliver services in complex cloud environments. Contribute to design and automate service scale features and customer requirements. Investigate pre-production and production issues, implement, and deploy fixes. Participate in an on-call rotation (typically 24/7 for one week every 6-8 weeks) within a secure facility. Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience Other Qualifications
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Security Clearance Details
Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to SCI based on an SSBI with Polygraph. Ability to meet security screening requirements is required. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance may result in employment action. Clearance Verification: This position requires verification of the stated security clearance prior to offer. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: Must pass upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship Verification: Requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based restrictions; verification via passport or approved documents, or verified U.S. government clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Understanding and experience with CI/CD concepts and Git. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization technologies. 2+ years of Windows / Linux hands-on system experience. Experience debugging issues from OS to cloud levels. Ability to solve operational issues at scale and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Support a 24x7 live site model for the services owned by the team. Experience with Kubernetes and related technologies. Experience building and supporting large-scale production services including logging, monitoring, alerts, and reliability measurements. Proficiency in at least one scripting language; know when to move to managed code. Azure DevOps and GitHub tooling. Demonstrated communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team. Employment details
