The Digital Fundraising Analyst will lead and support digital fundraising for two AARP charitable affiliates focusing on donor solicitation, cultivation, retention, stewardship and performance reporting. This role includes developing and executing digital fundraising strategies, manage end-to-end campaign delivery, including copy development, email set up and QC, audience segmentation, deployment, and creating donation and peer-to-peer fundraising pages. The Analyst will oversee quarterly anchor campaigns, with increased activity in Q4, and support donor stewardship through personalized outreach. They will also track performance metrics and collaborate with affiliate and communications teams to integrate storytelling and align website and social media fundraising efforts. Responsibilities
Provides support in the process of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and/or stewardship of the donors and prospective donors assigned within their respective donor/prospect pool or fundraising channel. Performs functions and processes that support the fundraising process (e.g., identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, systems/processing, stewardship) within their respective donor/prospect pool or function. Utilizes appropriate resources and processes to help ensure personal and departmental success in meeting departmental and personal objectives and goals. Performs processes and functions that support fundraising goals and expectations as needed. Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and board policies (e.g., gift acceptance) pertaining to gifts, contributions, grants and other charitable support raised. Adheres to ethical standards established by Association of Fundraising Professionals and National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. Qualifications
2 or more years of hands-on experience in digital fundraising or experience with email marketing and donation platforms (defined below). Ability to lead quarterly anchor campaigns and effectively manage heightened activity during peak fundraising periods, including developing campaign strategies, overseeing execution, and analyzing performance outcomes Experience with part or all of the following: end-to-end digital campaigns, including copywriting, email setup and quality control, audience segmentation, and deployment. Strong analytical skills to track and report on campaign performance metrics, using data to inform strategy and optimize future efforts. Experience collaborating with communications and affiliate teams, integrating storytelling and aligning fundraising efforts across websites and social media. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Preferred: Working knowledge of email marketing and donation platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Fundrise, Mailchimp, Springboard, and Click and Pledge.
