Wealth Management Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Analysis and Reporting
Performance Reports: Regularly track and report on portfolio performance, comparing returns to benchmarks and assessing risk-adjusted performance.
Rebalancing Reports: Analyze portfolio allocations and suggest adjustments to maintain the target risk-return profile.
Structural & Statistical Review: Evaluate portfolio composition, including asset classes, risk metrics, diversification, and liquidity.
Exposure Analysis: Analyze sector, geographic, and asset-class exposure to ensure alignment with investment strategy.
Due Diligence and Strategy Evaluation
Strategy Assessment: Assist in reviewing new and existing investment strategies, focusing on historical performance, risk profile, and alignment with portfolio goals.
Performance Attribution: Break down the drivers of portfolio performance, identifying key contributors or underperformers.
Reporting and Communication
Periodic Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance summaries, providing insights into portfolio performance, risk, and any required adjustments.
Ad Hoc Reports: Address urgent or specific reporting requests related to portfolio performance or strategy changes.
Skills & Tools:
Financial Analysis: Strong quantitative skills to analyze and interpret portfolio data.
Reporting Tools: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet) and portfolio management systems.
Communication: Ability to clearly explain complex financial data to various stakeholders.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and economic factors affecting investment outcomes.
The qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field required
1 to 2 years of experience in investment consulting, reporting and/or due diligence, financial planning, brokerage or investment management industry is preferred.
Passion for learning and deep interest in capital markets, economy, and investing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency in Excel is a must
