Overview
Senior User Experience Designer - Commercial Banking Platform (Remote - North Carolina). This remote position is aligned to the Enterprise Digital Design organization at Silicon Valley Bank, a division of First Citizens Bank. The role defines the User Experience for digital products, services, and channels, provides expert consultation, leads design and user testing for cross-functional initiatives, and collaborates with IT on digital deliverables. Designers are embedded in domains alongside product managers and developers, focusing on the SVB Go servicing experience (e.g., administration, security, information reporting, money movement, and others) for customers enrolled in the digital platform.
Responsibilities
UX Design - drive strategic monitoring and enhancement of the Bank's digital user experience; ensure digital products, services, and channels deliver an efficient, easy-to-use experience; guide the design process for successful integration and user acceptance.
Business Support - provide technical and operational support for digital products, channels, and corporate initiatives; mentor less experienced designers where appropriate.
User Testing - test new designs prior to implementation; write and execute test plans for design research; develop analytic processes for user testing to monitor results; uncover insights on user engagement and acceptance.
Collaboration - work closely with project teams and stakeholders to enhance and implement strategic initiatives; coordinate digital deliverables with IT.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in User design OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in User design
Preferred Area of Experience: Financial Services Industry, Commercial banking platforms, design research
