Position Overview We’re seeking a
Director, Media Analytics – Americas
to lead media measurement, performance analysis, and insight generation across the Americas. The role is both strategic and hands-on: initially owning analyses and reporting while shaping the longer-term vision for a regional team. This role joins the Global Marketing Analytics Team, transforming data into clear actions that optimize marketing performance and guide media, social, and creative strategies. The ideal candidate thrives in SharkNinja’s fast-moving culture, balancing rigor with pragmatism, using data to measure performance and influence decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership:
Serve as the media analytics lead for the Americas, developing strategy while executing hands-on analytics.
Team Development:
Shape the future Americas media analytics team by identifying needs, mentoring talent, and influencing headcount plans.
Cross-Channel Analytics:
Lead measurement across digital, social, retail, and traditional media, integrating data into a holistic performance view.
Signal Detection:
Identify signals, anomalies, or patterns in media and market data to flag risks or opportunities early.
Macro Analysis:
Assess how media investment drives overall business efficiency and growth, not just channel optimization.
Stakeholder Partnership:
Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, and Finance to provide actionable insights that shape investment decisions.
Testing & Measurement Roadmaps:
Drive the Americas test-and-learn agenda, including MMM, attribution, incrementality, and rapid experimentation.
Insight Communication:
Deliver compelling narratives that influence executives and accelerate decision-making.
Attributes & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in marketing/media analytics with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
Deep expertise in media measurement across digital and traditional channels.
Strong experience leading analytics in a consumer-driven business (preferably CPG or retail).
2+ years’ experience applying advanced data visualization, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
Ability to both do the work and set the vision for building a regional team.
Excellent communication, influencing, and executive presence.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where speed-to-insight is critical.
Work Environment This is primarily an on-site role based in Needham, MA (HQ), with flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.
