As Assistant Manager, you will lead a group of linguists in our Languages team and drive high-quality output from external vendors and freelancers. You’ll manage translation projects and workstreams, set and track KPIs, and continuously improve our translation processes. You’ll also support Product with linguistic requirements, advise on best practices, and help implement new technologies. Key Responsibilities
Manage, coach, and develop a team of translators and language specialists. Drive high-quality output from external localization vendors and freelancers. Set, track, and own localization KPIs; monitor team and individual performance. Prioritize translation requests, build roadmaps, and track execution. Collect and analyze data on cost, turnaround times, and quality. Run and analyze A/B tests on translations to improve language experience. Develop and run language quality assessment projects. Support product managers with linguistic requirements and best practices. Continuously analyze and improve translation processes and workflows. Follow and evaluate new localization technologies. What You’ll Need to Succeed
At least 2 years’ experience managing localization teams or projects. Proven analytical skills and a data-driven approach. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with translation workflows and tools; SQL expertise is a plus. Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus. Equal Opportunity Employer
