The team seeks a full-time Systems Administrator to support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of IT systems in Classified lab environment. This is a role best suited for someone who has prior experience working as a classified IT Systems Administrator. This is an on-premises position on our San Diego, CA campus. Roles & Responsibilities

Building and hardening Windows, Linux, and Hypervisor systems (e.g., VMware). Patching and updating Windows and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) servers and desktops. Updating anti-virus software definitions for Windows and Linux servers and workstations. User maintenance on Windows and Linux operating systems. General systems administration (patching, updates, user support) of: Windows & Linux desktops and servers Network switches VMware ESXi, vCenter platforms Network Storage Systems Configuring Certificate Services & Authority Performing Server Backups Powershell scripting for automation, task scheduling, and systems administration Maintenance of other systems/services as required (Splunk, Nessus Scanner/Tenable Security Center, Trellix Endpoint Security, Forescout, etc.) Basic Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Top Secret-level clearance Working knowledge of server and client operating systems (Win10, Srv2016+, RHEL, Ubuntu Linux) Fundamental understanding of lab IT architecture Fundamental understanding of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques Fundamental understanding of operating system command-line tools Ability to interface with customers and provide a high level of customer service Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Ability to collaborate effectively with others On-site requirement of 5 days per week Preferred Qualifications

Security+ Certification / 8570 Certification - IAT Level II Must earn certification within 6 months of hire date DoD Top Secret Clearance Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages (Chef, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) Clearance

This requisition requires the candidate to have Top Secret clearance. This requisition requires the hired candidate to have or obtain Top Secret clearance within one year from the date of hire. Salary and Location

Salary compensation range and midpoint: $97,500 - $122,000 - $146,500 Annual Work Location Type: Onsite Commitment to Non-Discrimination
