Requirements:What You’ll Be Doing (We don’t love the bullet points, but we love the work!)
The DevOps Software Engineer, affectionately dubbed the “Tech Whisperer”, oversees all Operational and Maintenance (O&M) tasks, encompassing installation, configuration, integration, monitoring, and upkeep of a sizable multi-tenant containerized Kubernetes High Performance Computing as a service (HPCaaS) platform within a substantial Linux computing ecosystem. Shall have a keen eye for attention to detail, robust organizational capabilities, and a bottomless cup of coffee for troubleshooting when the tech gremlins come knocking, as it is imperative for identifying and resolving issues, problems, and trouble tickets associated with these responsibilities. Of course, while navigating this role of bytes and bits, laughter truly is the best tool for overcoming obstacles!
You will get to work with cutting edge systems which might include (but are likely not limited to) processing intensive analytics (remember, this is HPC), novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets (again, HPC!), real-time systems, business management information systems, and systems which incorporate data repositories, data transport services, and application and systems development and monitoring. All being critical to the success of the customer and the overall mission at large.
