BridgeWay was founded in 1983 and serves the region from a central location in Little Rock. The facility is within reach of local amenities and transportation options. The BridgeWay is currently seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a proven track record in a for-profit Behavioral Health Hospital/Residential Treatment Program or with management of a large Psychiatric/Behavioral Health department within a large Acute care Hospital. Candidates should demonstrate a strong employment history with progressive growth. The ideal CEO will direct day-to-day operations, manage and develop staff, assure high-quality care, ensure sound fiscal operations, maintain a strong referral base and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations while continually monitoring the facility’s services and delivery systems. Accountable for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organization’s mission, vision and values. Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments including Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, Regulatory Affairs to drive patient care outcomes. Ensure hospital quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory guidelines. Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures and targets, and develop new areas of medical care to offer at the hospital. Supervise the development of comprehensive outpatient care and ambulatory programs; build positive relationships with local industry, government, and potential health care partners and the public. Ensure timely submission of month-end financial and operational reviews; contribute to corporate-wide strategic planning efforts. Communicate operational circumstances and events to leadership and appropriate stakeholders to keep all apprised. Achieve budgeted financial objectives. Manage contract negotiations and compliance with the commercial payor community. Focus on revenue growth and cost control, aiming to improve margins and reduce bad debt where possible. Contribute to census-building and strategic planning. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred Currently a behavioral executive (e.g., CEO at a Behavioral Health facility) or a Director of a large acute care facility with a large multi-unit psychiatry department Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management Working knowledge of operations, financial management and marketing methods Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time This opportunity offers the following
