The North America Solutions Deployment and Integration Organization delivers solutions to the public safety market (911, Police, Fire, EMS). The team delivers products and solutions that make our customers the best they can be in Solving for Safer. The Data Conversion team migrates/converts historical customers\' data into Motorola Solutions products. Responsibilities
Build and maintain data migration and conversion tools, test scripts, and deployment timelines with the project team. Collaborate, prototype, design, and implement data conversion solutions. Perform system integration of data migration solutions for customers and work with customers to fulfill business objectives and end-user expectations. Serve as a bridge between customer business needs and our technical ability to deliver data migration solutions; include soft-skills and customer interaction. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree Technical/software development experience Experience in software development with C#, XML, Python and .NET technologies Hands-on experience with SQL database design (MS SQL preferred, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL) Strong experience in SQL query design and implementation Understanding of object-oriented coding and design; participate in code reviews and feedback Able to troubleshoot and debug issues Support and triage issues with customer integration teams under minimum supervision Solid networking understanding Ability to create project\'s overall quality strategy and adjust as needed Ability to evaluate software quality through load testing, stress testing, unit testing, and exploratory testing Ability to summarize findings clearly in reports and other written artifacts Validate/deliver data migration solutions with the customer based on contract deliverables Strong communication skills to explain complex technical strategies with customers Experience with Agile software development, project management and business analysis is a plus Requirements
Required Skills: Bachelor\'s degree AND 1+ years experience in software disciplines: Systems Integration, Software Engineering, Product Development, System Test, System Support, IT or similar technical or engineering disciplines OR 4+ years of experience in software disciplines: Systems Integration, Software Engineering, Product Development, System Test, System Support, IT or similar technical or engineering disciplines Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
