Systems Engineer supports a large-scale Distributed Infrastructure, providing technical leadership in problem solving, maintenance, and project build situations, formulating solutions for improvement, and working with peers to establish a strategic direction for the environment. This position will install, maintain, and configure systems infrastructure on both on-premise and Cloud platforms. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable field. Masters preferred. 10+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable industry experience. Hands-on, proven expertise with developing tech solutions involving multiple apps to solve business/production needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working within teams and with stakeholders. Expertise in Linux, MacOS, and/or Windows system administration. Experience managing cloud-based solutions using VMware, AWS, GCP, and/or Kubernetes. Experience with LDAP, DNS, SSO, MDM, SMTP, system performance-monitoring tools, virtualization, HTTP, email routing and administration; interacting with REST APIs for application integration and automation; familiarity with authentication standards. Ability to query and visualize data using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and/or ElasticSearch. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Understanding of TCP/IP networks, troubleshooting, and related technologies. Experience with at least: AWS, Chef, Docker, Terraform, F5, Couchbase, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Angular. Knowledge of technical architecture, application system design, and integration in a large enterprise environment. Additional Information
