About the Role
Were seeking a highly skilled and hands-on
Contract Software Engineer
to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, youll be responsible for building member-facing product features on our modern tech stack, delivering high-quality code with unit tests, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This is a backend-focused engineering role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment and is passionate about delivering impactful features at scale. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend features for member-facing products in the Cards vertical. Write clean, scalable, and well-tested code using
TypeScript ,
GraphQL , and
Node.js . Work with
CI/CD tools
to ensure smooth deployment and integration. Build and maintain
microservices
that support scalable product features. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA to deliver features on time and with high quality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions. Work independently after onboarding, managing tasks with minimal supervision. Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background. 5+ years of backend web engineering experience. Strong proficiency in
TypeScript
and
GraphQL . Hands-on experience with
Node.js ,
CI/CD pipelines , and
microservices architecture . Proven ability to deliver high-quality code with unit tests. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-based environment. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Scala
and
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Background in
