Graphic Designer
to join our marketing team in our
Seattle, WA
office. We are seeking a driven professional who desires an opportunity to grow their graphic design career in a collaborative, team-oriented, and multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, develop and produce multi-component marketing collateral, and other graphic communication materials for both digital and print documents and media. Collaboratively design and produce graphics associated with the Seattle office and firmwide marketing and communications efforts, including: qualifications, proposals, presentations, boards, diagrams, infographics, templates, social media content, and special projects including awards submissions, project books, and exhibit displays. Be responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of graphics deliverables from concept through completion. Conduct research on clients’ brands, cultures, organizations, and unique requirements to inform custom design concepts. Develop creative solutions based on feedback, guidelines, and overall vision. Update and maintain graphic assets for ZGF projects and initiatives. Work in a fast-paced environment to generate a range of creative concepts prior to developing detailed and final solutions. Advance project with minimal oversight. Proactively source information, content and direction from colleagues across the firm as necessary to complete a deadline. Provide expertise and consultation on printing / production techniques, product details, graphic technology, and materials. Support architectural project teams in production of graphic deliverables when needed. Ensure quality control of all graphic deliverables through testing of technology and materials before deployment, approval of proofs, and press checks. Stay at the forefront of evolving design and technology trends by participating in educational and professional opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts or related design, with 2-7 years of professional experience Expertise in graphic tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud—InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is a must; working knowledge of other programs such as Teams, Deltek Vision, Open Asset, Miro, One Note, SketchUp, Revit, or 3D modeling programs is a plus. Strong conceptual graphic design skills. Ability to be focused, meticulous, and thorough with excellent attention to detail and graphic consistency. Analytical and problem-solving skills. A design approach based on deep research. Proficiency in review of design details, such as typography, alignment, and hierarchy Ability to work quickly in a deadline-driven environment, respond to and prioritize multiple requests, be responsive to the time-critical nature of marketing deadlines Organizational and time management skills, and ability to execute complex design efforts and deadlines with minimal oversight. Strong storytelling and problem-solving skills—the ability to distill multiple ideas into clear and compelling graphics Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Experience working with current and evolving digital technology and media, as well as printing and production techniques, and coordinating with print and fabrication vendors Consistent pursuit of innovation in order to raise the bar Experience in the architectural field is a plus Ability to work on PC platform Able to travel to other ZGF offices and/or client project locations as needed Base Salary Range
$63,000/yr - $81,000/yr depending on skills and experience. Benefits
