Stay Tuned with Preet Bharara—one of the first podcasts to successfully bring legal analysis into the mainstream—has become a trusted platform for conversations at the intersection of law, politics, and policy. At a time when legal and political developments are unfolding at breakneck speed, we’re seeking an Editorial Producer to guide the show’s editorial direction and production. This role is based in New York (US Only). The Role
The Lead Editorial Producer will own the production process from concept to publication, ensuring each episode delivers the rigor, depth, and clarity our audience expects. Beyond podcast episodes, the producer will contribute editorial content for Substack and the CAFE website, amplifying the show’s impact across platforms. Why This Role

What You’ll Do
Lead editorial production of Stay Tuned with Preet episodes from concept to publication Assist in the editorial production of a new national security and foreign policy focused podcast Collaborate with host(s) and the editorial team to identify timely topics and compelling guests Book guests and as needed, guest hosts Draft in-depth research memos, scripts, and editorial copy Oversee tapings, recording logistics, and post-production Write companion pieces for Substack and CAFE digital platforms Contribute creative ideas for audience growth, marketing, and promotion Support other CAFE/Vox Media podcasts as needed What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated passion for legal, political, and policy news; Legal or policy background strongly preferred Exceptional news judgment and ability to translate complex issues for a broad audience 2+ years of experience in journalism or media production, preferably at a major news organization Strong writing, editing, and research skills Professional maturity, sound judgment, and critical thinking Ability to thrive under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects Familiarity with new media platforms and AI tools is a plus If you think you have what it takes, but don’t meet every single point in our job posting, please apply with a cover letter to let us know how you believe you can bring your unique skills to the Vox Media team or get in touch!
