Senior Web/Experience Designer role at
Patients & Purpose
(P&P). The XD team contributes to planning, design, and execution of exceptional digital experiences for patients and caregivers. You’ll be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and relish the craft of user experience design, influencing the experience of a brand through the expectations of its users. Responsibilities
Collaborate with UX design leads, copywriters, and art directors Drive a strategic and conceptual vision across various projects within the patient journey Influence project-level planning and overall design of the user experience for multiple projects Develop an experience strategy and collaborate with brand teams to execute the user experience design Build stronger agency/brand team perception as an expert to foster strong relationships with higher-level department leaders Create visual design concepts and communicate needs, managing the visual design process from ideation to development and launch Generate high-fidelity, pixel-perfect visual designs and production assets Prepare assets and development build kits including interaction specs Work with developers to provide guidance and validate implementation Participate in new business pitches as necessary Actively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, UX, technology, trends) Continuously learn and evaluate existing project work Focus on UX areas of specialty and identify new opportunities within brand teams Advance XD group capabilities through new thinking, processes, collaboration, and problem-solving Qualifications
7+ years of UX/UI design experience with a visual or product design focus Strong design portfolio showcasing a variety of digital projects, including mobile-first websites and native apps Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, and Zeplin Passion for interface visual design, UX best practices, design systems, and prototyping Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with internal and external development teams Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and well organized Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, etc. Experience staffing, managing, and mentoring lower-level UX designers Experience in brief, budget, scope, and timeline creation with project management Experience reviewing existing systems to identify UX issues and develop recommendations Experience with user-centered design methods and strategic UX thinking Experience with accessibility and WCAG standards Ability to distill complex ideas into simple concepts and defend your work Organic growth mindset and ability to lead and guide junior designers Ability to drive the XD group forward through new thinking and collaboration Salary & Location
Location: New York, NY Salary range: $128,500 - $130,000 (range may vary based on experience and other factors) Other notes: EEO statements and related compliance as applicable.
