Join our team as a Cloud Network Engineering Specialist! This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely within the Eastern Time Zone. Candidates must hold a public trust clearance and be US citizens. We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $150,000 per year, dependent on various factors such as experience, education, and skills. As a Cloud Network Engineering Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable network architectures in the cloud. We are looking for someone with a strong background in networking, a passion for cloud technologies, and expertise in AWS services and security best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy scalable, secure network architectures on AWS.

Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.

Implement and manage hybrid cloud connectivity solutions.

Ensure network compliance with FedRamp standards.

Deploy and manage network monitoring and logging tools.

Collaborate with application teams to create tailored network solutions for diverse workloads.

Preferred Skills: AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Certification.

Experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations for managing multi-account environments.

Familiarity with container networking (Amazon ECS, EKS).

Qualifications & Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

4+ years of network engineering experience, with at least 2 years specializing in AWS.

Solid foundation in networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, SD-routing, VPNs, firewalls.

Hands-on experience with AWS networking services like Amazon VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, IPAM, Route 53, WAF, and PrivateLink.

Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Git.

Technical Requirements: Proven ability to design and implement complex AWS network architectures.

Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking and software-defined networking (SDN).

Experience with network automation and orchestration.

Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

AWS Expertise: VPC design, including subnets, route tables, NACLs, and security groups.

Implement AWS Network Firewall and WAF.

Direct Connect and AT&T NetBond connectivity options.

Utilize Transit Gateway for hub-and-spoke architectures.

Employ PrivateLink for secure service connectivity.

Network Security Capabilities: Network segmentation and micro-segmentation skills.

Understanding of AWS security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config.

Strategies for DDoS protection on AWS.

Proficient in encryption in transit (SSL/TLS).
