Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates, and directs the daily operations of food service, including scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and production to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.

Develops and enforces policies and procedures that direct food preparation, distribution, and service, as well as purchasing, sanitation, safety practices, performance improvement, and staff education and development.

Qualifications

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required and current.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare food service management required.

Food Safety Certification from an accredited organization and current.

Retail and catering experience with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation desirable.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $32.71 to $47.37 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
