The Technical Project Manager (TPM) focused on software development and delivery oversees end-to-end execution of software projects. They translate business and product goals into detailed technical plans, break down features into tasks, define architecture needs, manage dependencies, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing and integration. With a solid understanding of software development lifecycles—especially Agile or DevOps frameworks—they coordinate sprints, track progress, identify risks, and remove blockers to speed up engineering velocity and releases. In systems and software delivery, TPMs orchestrate the release of features from development through staging to production. They plan release schedules, manage version control and rollout strategies, and ensure post-release monitoring for stability and performance. They collaborate with designers, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to enable automated testing, continuous integration, and reliable deployment pipelines, ensuring software is delivered on time, scalable, secure, and maintainable. Responsibilities
Maintains delivery commitments; projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to defined quality standards. Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders and visibility of project progress and risks for informed decision-making. Drive cross-functional alignment to accelerate delivery of business benefits. Define and clarify project requirements, partner with business leads, and ensure initiatives have clear, validated business objectives. Develop delivery roadmaps and schedules that realize business value and avoid misalignment. Maintain project stability, manage risks and blockers, and control budgets to optimize ROI. Manage software release cycles to maximize value delivery with minimal disruption. Deliver high-value, business-driven features and prioritize initiatives with the most impact. Safeguard quality with defined acceptance criteria, testing coverage, and reduction of post-release issues. Drive continuous improvement through process and tooling enhancements and better cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications
Education & Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Management Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of IT or software development project experience in a hybrid or cross-functional role (BA/QA/PM) within a software environment. Expert understanding of Agile, Waterfall, hybrid and other PM methodologies; experience in early-stage or fast-evolving teams. Experience implementing change and process improvements; 5–7+ years managing technology projects in complex or enterprise environments. At least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role; proven track record in prioritization, risk management, and cross-functional decision-making. Proven ability to work with evolving roles and nascent processes. Certifications & Development (Advantageous):
CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile certifications, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, CSM or similar. Capabilities

Working knowledge of software architecture, development processes and tools; able to engage with engineers and align implementation with product goals. Structured Planning and Execution:
Organize complex projects into clear plans with milestones and owners; track progress and adapt to changes. Delivery Ownership:
