Overview
Sr. Director, Product Management - AI/ML Platform Intelligence Sr. Director, AI/ML Platform Intelligence will lead a product team spanning the Machine Learning and Generative AI platforms at Capital One. The role is responsible for core platform services for the AI/ML platform that powers mission-critical business applications. This leader will partner with technology, risk, security, and business teams to monitor platform performance, identify issues, and support resilience. Responsibilities Lead a product team focused on AI/ML platform intelligence, including machine learning and generative AI platform services. Set strategy and priorities grounded in technical understanding and user experience for data scientists and software engineers. Partner with technology, risk, security, and business teams to monitor platform performance, identify issues, and support resilience. Measure benefits of more powerful, faster capabilities and improved developer experience. Basic Qualifications
At least 9 years of experience working in Product Management. Current or in-process for one of the following degrees, with the expectation to obtain the degree by start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related quantitative field). A Masters Degree in a quantitative field (same list) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products. 5+ years of experience in people leadership. 3+ years in innovative technology environments that embrace public cloud and open source technologies. 3+ years building business-critical AI and Machine Learning products. Experience with AI/ML technologies such as Kubernetes, Observability, Security, AI/ML Experiment Management, or Model Monitoring. Experience in Gen AI Application Evaluation, MLOps, or AIOps.
