Responsibilities

Provide overall team leadership for their asset team in the areas of safety, quality, cost, productivity, continuous improvement, housekeeping/5S, good manufacturing practices (GMP), and more.

Partner with other site resources (Continuous Improvement, Reliability, Engineering, etc.) to deliver platform results.

Set objectives with a direct and significant impact on plant and sector results, and the delivery of customer service for Kimberly-Clark

Meet quality metric objectives (significant events, RFT, Cost of quality).

Ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory agencies.

Build strong relationships across Mill teams for continuous improvement.

Manage manufacturing costs and develop forecasting strategies.

Own asset reliability (unplanned delays, down planning, continuous improvement, etc.).

Lead teams using LEAN, LSS, and OPEX methodologies.

Manage 100 or more Operators, Process Employees, Reliability Technicians, and Asset Engineers

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Position typically requires a bachelor’s in engineering, business or relevant discipline and 10+ years of equivalent related experience.

Experience in Operations, Business, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Maintenance

Must possess a strong understanding of operations within the Supply Chain.

Demonstrated ability to organize, influence and lead a multi-functional team and foster a proactive team environment.

Proficiency in LEAN business practices. Can role model and teach 4 step simple problem solving, LSW, Visual Management, 5S.

Ability to build and manage a budget

Experience in multiple mills, product systems and staff experience, along with leadership of a non-exempt workforce

Ability to travel up to 15%

This is a Grade 8 position in the US. Grades may vary by location.

Salary Range: 140,320 – 173,360 USD. At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
