Overview

The Director of Finance is responsible for the strategic and procedural financial operations for multiple properties. Supervises and directs the financial and accounting activities of the hotels under their scope, including AP, AR, credit and collections, payroll, cash management, internal controls, auditing, general ledger, financial statements, taxes, and budgeting. This position is based at Limelight Mammoth with oversight to Limelight Ketchum and reports to the Senior Director of Finance; acts as a key partner to the Hotel General Manager. Budgeted salary range: $120,000 - $150,000. Actual pay dependent on budget and experience; salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Applications accepted until September 12, 2025. Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

Create and execute business plans aligned with properties and brand’s business strategies Plan, organize, direct and control financial operations while ensuring hotel asset security, maximize ROI, provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis of results, and maintain integrity of management information systems As a member of the hotel’s Executive Committee, maintain high visibility with Senior Corporate leaders and Asset Managers Lead monthly forecasts, annual operating and capital budgets, and business plans; present to stakeholders with reasonable, achievable guidelines aligned with Company and brand strategy Prepare accurate, timely monthly financial statements with workpapers and schedules per policies, GAAP, and hotel management agreements Manage risk to preserve hotel property and reduce potential liability claims Oversee receivables, payables, credit, payroll, cash handling, and treasury functions with hotel accounting staff Distribute outlook and forecast information for operating departments; analyze variances to improve accuracy Maintain insurance coverage and ensure licenses, permits, contracts and legal agreements are up to date Use performance analysis to maximize revenue, GOP flow-through and bottom-line return Comply with record retention for audits, coordinate audits, respond to auditor requests and regulatory requirements Monitor purchasing/ordering/delivery, analyze reports from buying programs, and approve purchases and expenses Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field Minimum of 7 years as a Director of Finance in a hotel Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of hotel property management software, POS systems, electronic time clocks, spreadsheets and hotel applications Budgeting, forecasting, and capital project accounting knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong accounting knowledge and ability to analyze and improve processes Ability to collaborate across finance, operations and sales Effective leadership, communication, and ethical business practices Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills Ability to analyze data to maintain market share and profitability Ability to work under deadline pressure and adapt to change Ability to develop and implement local accounting and financial controls, safeguard assets, and improve operations Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly when rolling out initiatives and measuring results Ability to develop and monitor hotel-specific accounts receivable and collection practices in line with policies Compliance with company policies and local SOPs Work Environment & Physical Demands
