Responsibilities
Support field projects by installing and configuring new modems and communication devices.
Perform retrofit installations to upgrade existing connectivity infrastructure.
Drive connectivity improvements and initiatives within the assigned region.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for connectivity issues in the field.
Train and mentor colleagues on connectivity best practices and troubleshooting tools.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure connectivity requirements are met for all field operations.
Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and support activities.
Travel up to 50% of the time to various field locations to support projects and installations.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all field activities.
Qualifications
Vocational school or technical training in communications, networking, electronics, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of work experience in a related technical role involving telemetry communications, networking, or electronics.
Strong understanding of modem technology, networking protocols, and communication systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support colleagues.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Computer skills and familiarity with remote monitoring tools and software.
