As the Connected Identity Lead, your role will be crucial in rolling out Connected Identity across markets to enable outcome-based marketing for our clients. You will drive the enhancement of Publicis’ Connected Identity platform globally by building and sustaining a strategic approach to data modelling, 1P onboarding, and enrichment for audience identification, activation, and measurement. Your efforts will support our growth objectives, enriching our data capabilities and optimizing the potential of our platforms. Strategic Leadership: Lead the Connected Identity strategic approach, development process and integration across markets and brands for each business need Direct and nurture the development, presentation, and maintenance of plans to build a competitive advantage including: insight development, innovation road maps, pivotal initiatives, big but relevant ideas, updates, and point-of-views (POVs) Be familiar with widely used and emerging insight tools and media technology, channels, and terminology, including but not limited to CDPs, CRMs, Clean Room Solutions, Personalization Solutions, DCO Platforms, Identity Solutions, and more Collaborate with local and global teams that help to prioritize and acquire data sets essential for improving their Connected Identity solution Identify, source, and integrate additional data sets to meet specific vertical category business measurement requirements Drive connectivity, consistency, and quality by gathering market requirements, evaluating vendor options, and ensuring alignment with global data teams Educate internal teams and clients on standard processes for using data assets to improve their potential Support teams with a deep understanding of data sharing, processing, and ownership regulatory knowledge across the globe, and liaise with legal as needed, to help establish any necessary DPA and relevant AI approvals Work with Clients and Agency Partners to provide strategic recommendations on how Clients should handle their 1P data, including but not limited to conversations around CDPs, CRM, and Clean Room Solutions Provide a deep understanding of Identity-Led Measurement solutions to enable Clients to understand the full extent of their marketing activity on consumers Contribute to conversations on how to develop custom data modelling solutions to predict, power, and prove audience-led outcomes Team Management and Development: Work with markets and regions as they develop their Connected Identity approach, adapting the global story into their own local stories. You’ll be their key point of contact and support to help them with questions about their go to market stories. Lead and mentor audience data scientists and strategists across the globe, fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and respect Manage and work alongside the broader cross-functional team including planning, measurement and production, to ensure Connected Identity is woven throughout Provide clear communication on business initiatives, ensure proper training on tools and processes, and participate in talent development efforts Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards, timelines, and budgets, managing client expectations effectively (as needed). Domain Thought-Leadership & Industry Innovation: Be a recognized contributor/vocal in forums in your technical domain. Contribute to the company’s growth by developing case studies, white papers, and industry presentations highlighting success stories and innovative analytic approaches. Set the standard for the organization in your technical area. Audience Strategy: Apply proprietary audience intelligence capabilities to help answer clients’ biggest business challenges and uncover new, undetected revenue and growth opportunities. Define and evolve segmentation frameworks, journey mapping, and activation strategies that align with client/customer goals Define and oversee audience governance across paid platforms, ensuring clean handoffs and efficient data usage Regularly review emerging trends in privacy, identity, data clean rooms, CDPs, AI/ML-based segmentation, and channel innovation and develop POV's to educate the organization Serve as the leader with vision and provocateur for what’s next—bringing a strategic lens to emerging tech, new partners, and evolving audience behaviors. Qualifications
15+ years of digital media experience with progressive levels of responsibility and business insight in marketing and communications, team management and P&L management. 12+ years of experience in media planning/strategy with dynamic levels of responsibility 8+ years of experience in consulting clients on data strategy. Excellent client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic audience recommendations, innovate, and drive modern marketing solutions Deep experience across all media types (global, national, local, digital, direct, programmatic, shopper, etc.) Demonstrated critical thinking skill and exceptional problem-solving skills – navigates effectively through difficult issues, builds required consensus to drive business needs and results Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills – effectively presents formal POVs in a high-profile client facing role with senior clients internally and externally. Ability to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables with an eye towards detail Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead team to deliver high-quality results Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite, Tableau, R, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, IMS, Flowchart Software, R/F and Optimization Software, Social Tracking tools, comScore, Prisma, Mbox, MRI/GfK, GWI Mastery of the digital analytics space and has innovated to develop new opportunities Strong knowledge of ad tech, data integration, data activation, and the data economy, including expertise with third-party ad serving platforms, DSPs, CDPs, 3rd Party data, pixels and Ad Servers Expertise with customer acquisition goals and optimize CPA, CTR, Completion Rate, etc. Deep knowledge of Identity Solution tools and platforms (e.g. Epsilon, Liveramp, Neustar, etc.) Ability to cultivate relationships with data, technology, and research partners Additional information
