50% Delivery and Execution - Lead portfolio level principal meetings to maintain alignment, create and architect foundational code elements reusable across a portfolio, develop POCs with new technologies, and track efficient cloud resource usage with cost reduction opportunities. 10% People - Serve as escalation point for extremely complex challenges; mentor and coach, conduct performance reviews, and attract/retain top talent. 15% Strategy and Planning - Collaborate with a Distinguished Engineer to define technology solutions, unify strategy across local teams, remove roadblocks on large cross-functional projects, influence technology roadmaps, and drive thought leadership. 25% Support and Enablement - Escalate high-priority issues, field questions from project/product/support teams, resolve technology disputes, work with vendors on feature enhancements, and evangelize tooling and technology use. Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with occasional movement. Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent, non-objectionable conditions. Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Expertise in at least two technologies used by THD IT Experience with common business processes used in the retail industry Experience in Agile/Lean development environments 7 years of relevant work experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field Typically requires overnight travel less than 15% of the time Preferred Qualifications
7-9 years of relevant work experience GenAI as one of the fields of expertise Ability to understand complicated systems quickly Mastery in assigned domains Active participation in or leadership of professional groups 5 years of leadership experience Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field Years of Experience
