Overview Rapid Prototyping AI Engineer

Design and implement effective AI solution architecture utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with the company\'s strategies and business goals. Apply advanced technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members, as needed.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, data research, or data analytics

Experience with planning, leading, or mentoring in software and artificial intelligence projects

Experience in generative and agentic AI technologies, such as MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph

Experience with a programming language, including Python, C#, or Java

Experience with project work in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing

Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Bachelor\'s degree

Additional Qualifications

Experience with embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust

Experience integrating coding agents, such as Cursor or Windsurf, into an efficient development pipeline with measured results

Experience with GPU programming, including CUDA or RAPIDs

Experience with modern cloud computing technologies, including Docker

Ability to gather requirements from customers and lead Agile teams

Doctorate degree in Computer Science or Statistics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual\'s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed is one component of Booz Allen\'s total compensation package for employees.
