We are seeking a Project Architect/ Senior Project Architect to join our high-performance Retail/Hospitality team . This is a pivotal hire for us, offering a fast-track leadership opportunity for a driven architectural professional looking to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

Project Architect managing design through construction phases and projects

Lead the architectural design and project delivery process across all phases – from conceptual design through construction administration.

Manage client relationships, ensure project objectives and deadlines are met, and maintain design integrity and quality standards.

Direct and mentor junior staff, delegating tasks and overseeing documentation, detailing, and coordination with consultants.

Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to manage project budgets, timelines, and approvals.

Serve as a key point of contact for client presentations and jurisdictional reviews.

Project Experience

Retail Roll-Out programs for or regional brands

Hospitality projects, including hotels and entertainment venues

Grocery Stores, supermarkets, or food retail design

Commercial developments, including office, mixed-use, or tenant improvement work

Qualifications

8-10+ years of experience in architectural projects as a Project Architect, including client-facing responsibilities

6+ years of exp. working on recent Retail, Retail Rollout, and/or Hospitality projects.

BS in Architecture and/or MS in Architecture

Architectural license in California required

Strong technical knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and permitting processes

Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and project management tools

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
